Are there Native Americans in your colony? If so, which tribes? •Population - How many people live in your colony? •Languages - What languages are spoken in your colony? •Religion - What religion or religions were practiced? •Jobs - What kinds of jobs were common in your colony? •Government - Who were the leaders in your colony or who was the leader? How was your colony run? •Economy - How did your colony make money? •Why was your colony started? Was there a reason or purpose behind it? •Money - What kind of money is used in your colony? •Transportation - How do people get around in your colony? •Famous People - Any famous people from the 1700's that are from your colony?
•Color Photos of nature ARE allowed •Color Photos of tools ARE allowed IF they look the same now as they did then. •Color photos in general ARE allowed IF it looks the same now as it did then. •Photographs of people or cities are NOT allowed because they did not have photos in the 1700's. Use paintings for your images. •Use common sense when choosing images.
•ONLY talk about things that were realistic for the 1700's. Do not talk about things that didn't exist then. For example, no phone numbers, texting, computers, websites, Air Jordan's, cars, trains, planes, internet, amusement parks, movies, etc. •Do NOT use slang or expressions from modern times. For example, don't say something is "dope" or "tight" or "sick" or "the bomb."
